Just as low-maintenance and weatherproof as the doorbell nameplate is the doorbell button. The button is made of stainless steel and waterproof to IP67. At Malmvik you'll find various types of buttons. Buttons with an LED ring are popular, making the doorbell easy for your visitors to find at night. Various colours are available (white, blue, green and red). Mounting the doorbell nameplate is straightforward. The doorbell can be fixed using a bolt plate or with silicone adhesive.

Mounting

Since the doorbell button is recessed into the wall, a sufficiently large hole must be available.

Installation

Connection is made to standard doorbell wiring.
For installation you will need:
- Chime or buzzer
- Transformer 6V - 24V
- Two separate live 8-24V cables at the installation site.
