Material and workmanship of the highest standard. State-of-the-art, computer-controlled laser machines enable the most precise manufacturing. Final assembly is carried out entirely by hand at our factory in southern Germany.
Thanks to its IP65 certification, the Metzler VDM10 achieves maximum resistance to dust and water.
Simply put: it guarantees lasting protection even in the harshest weather conditions.
See more: instead of the usual 80°, the Metzler VDM10 offers a horizontal field of view of 146° and a vertical field of view of 82°. The VDM10 door intercom with full-HD camera guarantees a crystal-clear picture, without lag or flicker. The video is relayed to the indoor station(s) in real time.
Night blindness and poor lighting are a thing of the past. The infrared LEDs in the outer ring of the camera light up objects up to 10m away in bright detail, even in complete darkness. The built-in light sensor activates the IR LEDs exactly when they're actually needed. That's how night becomes day!
Hear and be heard like never before. The powerful microphone lets you hear the person at your door perfectly and crystal clear. Excellent noise and echo suppression makes it feel as if your visitor is standing right in front of you.
Almost any door or gate opener can be connected to the VDM10 video door intercom. The door or gate can then be opened conveniently via the indoor station or your smartphone. An additional security module for door control is available as an option.
The built-in tamper alarm protects your Metzler door intercom. The alarm signal, louder than 85dB, sends thieves running – sticky fingers don't stand a chance!
Control all VDM10 functions via the intuitively operated Home | Pro | Ultra indoor stations. Thanks to its large display and brilliant resolution, the touchscreen offers optimal ease of use. With live video playback you see in real time who's ringing, and with just one click you can open the door for your visitor. User-friendly operation and easy installation make everyday life easier, alongside many other useful functions.
While out and about, you'll benefit from controlling the VDM10 via the free smartphone app (compatible with Android and iOS). You can use your smartphone as an intercom with door opener and, thanks to live notifications, open the front door or the garage door.
