Thanks to IP65 certification, the Metzler VDM10 achieves the highest resistance to dust and water.
In other words: it provides lasting protection even in the harshest weather conditions.
See more: instead of the usual 80°, the Metzler VDM10 gives you a horizontal field of view of 146° and a vertical field of view of 82°. The VDM10 door intercom's full-HD camera guarantees a crystal-clear picture, with no lag or flicker. Video is streamed to the indoor station(s) in real time.
Night blindness and poor lighting are a thing of the past. The infrared LEDs in the outer ring of the camera ensure that objects up to 10 m away are shown brightly lit even in complete darkness. The built-in light sensor activates the IR LEDs exactly when they are actually needed. That's how night becomes day!
Hear and be heard like never before. The powerful microphone lets you hear the person at your door perfectly and crystal-clear. Excellent noise and echo suppression make it feel as if your visitor were standing right in front of you.
Almost any door or gate opener can be connected to the VDM10 video door intercom. Opening the door or gate is then simply a matter of using the indoor station or your smartphone. An additional security module for door control is available as an option.
With a Mifare card, the door can be opened conveniently without a key. The RFID reader is built into the VDM10 video door intercom and is LED-illuminated.
The built-in tamper alarm protects your Metzler door intercom. The alarm signal, louder than 85 dB, quickly scares off would-be thieves – sticky fingers don't stand a chance!
Control all VDM10 functions via the intuitive Home | Pro | Ultra indoor stations. Thanks to its large display and brilliant resolution, the touchscreen offers optimal ease of use. With live video playback you can see in real time who's ringing, and open the door for your visitor with just one click. User-friendly operation and easy installation, along with many other useful features, make everyday life easier.
On the go, you'll benefit from being able to control the VDM10 via the free smartphone app (compatible with Android and iOS). You can use your smartphone as an intercom with door opener and, thanks to live notifications, open the front door or garage door.
