See more: instead of the usual 80°, we offer a horizontal field of view of 146° and a vertical field of view of 82°. The VDM10 door intercom with Full HD camera guarantees a crystal-clear image, without lag or flicker. The video is forwarded to the indoor station(s) in real time.
Night blindness and poor lighting are a thing of the past. The infrared LEDs in the outer ring of the camera ensure that objects up to 10m away are shown brightly illuminated even in complete darkness. Thanks to the integrated light sensor, the IR LEDs activate exactly when they're really needed. That's how night becomes day!
Hear and be heard like never before. The powerful microphone lets you hear the person at your door perfectly and crystal clear. Excellent noise and echo suppression makes it feel as if your visitor were standing right in front of you.
Almost any door or gate opener can be connected to the VDM10 video door intercom. The door or gate can then be conveniently opened via the indoor station or your smartphone. An additional security module for door control is available as an option.
The integrated tamper alarm protects your Metzler door intercom. The alarm signal, louder than 85dB, quickly scares off thieves - light-fingered visitors don't stand a chance!

With live video playback you see in real time who's ringing, and with just one click you can open the door for your visitor. On the go, you benefit from controlling the VDM10 via the free smartphone app (compatible with Android and iOS). You can use your smartphone as an intercom and, thanks to live notifications, open the front door or garage door.
