Thanks to its IP65 rating, the Metzler VDM10 achieves maximum resistance to dust and water.
In short: it guarantees lasting protection even in the harshest weather conditions.
See more: instead of the usual 80°, the Metzler VDM10 offers a horizontal field of view of 146° and a vertical field of view of 82°. This video door intercom with full HD camera guarantees a crystal-clear picture, without lag or flickering. Video is streamed to the indoor station(s) in real time.
Night blindness and poor lighting conditions are a thing of the past. The infrared LEDs in the outer ring of the camera ensure that objects up to 10m away are clearly illuminated even in complete darkness. Thanks to the built-in light sensor, the IR LEDs activate exactly when they're really needed. That's how night becomes day!
Hear and be heard like never before. The powerful microphone lets you hear the person at your door perfectly and clearly. Excellent noise and echo cancellation makes it feel as if your visitor were standing right in front of you.
Almost any door or gate opener can be connected to the Metzler VDM10 video intercom. The door or gate can then be conveniently opened via the indoor station or your smartphone. An additional security module for door control is available as an option.
The built-in tamper alarm protects your Metzler door intercom. The alarm signal, louder than 85dB, quickly scares off thieves – so sticky fingers don't stand a chance!
Operate all functions of the Metzler VDM10 via the intuitively operated Home | Pro | Ultra indoor stations. Thanks to its large display and brilliant resolution, the touchscreen offers optimal ease of use. With live video playback, you see in real time who's ringing, and with just one click you can open the door for your visitor. User-friendly operation and easy installation make everyday life easier, alongside many other useful features.
On the go, you'll benefit from controlling the Metzler VDM10 via the free smartphone app (compatible with Android and iOS). You can use your smartphone as an intercom and, thanks to live notifications, open the front door or garage door.
