The "Model 02" from Metzler – here as a free-standing mailbox with an integrated wireless doorbell – already impressed visitors at the Südwest Messe 2018 with its elaborately decorated body, and it's guaranteed to do the same for your entrance area!
As with all Metzler mailboxes, elegant design meets functionality here too. The mailbox's sturdy body is made of high-quality, rust-proof stainless steel (V2A). This makes the mailbox extremely robust and weatherproof for many years. The elaborate decoration is made of UV-resistant, satin-finished acrylic glass in the trend colour anthracite (RAL7016). The matte satin-finished acrylic glass not only looks elegant but is also scratch-resistant. The engraved surfaces are slightly raised, making them stand out perfectly. Thanks to the high-quality material, the mailbox is almost twice as heavy as a conventional mailbox. The mailbox stand is made of high-quality metal and is likewise powder-coated in anthracite.
To customise the mailbox to your individual preferences, 20 unique fonts are available for the engraving.
We also offer a matching newspaper compartment to go with the mailbox's design.
The mailbox comes with two keys and a complete installation kit.

Retrofitting a wireless doorbell in the mailbox – it's this easy
In addition to its function as a mailbox, we've integrated a cordless, genuine Metzler wireless doorbell. The wireless doorbell's range is up to 200 m (open field). The mailbox is compatible with Metzler wireless receivers. If you already own a Metzler wireless doorbell, you can use the mailbox with your Metzler wireless chimes without having to buy an additional receiver.
Thanks to the special Metzler wireless transmitter, the mailbox becomes a fully-fledged wireless doorbell. Thanks to the special transmission technology at 433.92+2 MHz, more than 64,000 frequencies (auto-learning) are possible, avoiding interference from other devices.
Please note: a receiver is not included and must be purchased separately.
As a special highlight, the optional LED ring on the doorbell button lights up for 1 second to confirm to the visitor that the button has been pressed.
