Mailbox with wireless doorbell – Model 02 with integrated wireless doorbell

Metzler's "Model 02" already wowed visitors at the Südwest trade fair in 2018 with its elaborately decorated body – and it's guaranteed to do the same in your entrance area!
As with all Metzler mailboxes, refined design meets functionality here too. The mailbox's sturdy body is made of high-quality, rust-free stainless steel (V2A), making it extremely robust and weather-resistant for many years. The elaborate decoration is made of UV-resistant, satin-finished acrylic glass in anthracite (RAL 7016). This acrylic glass not only looks elegant but is also scratch-resistant. The engraving surfaces are slightly raised, bringing them perfectly to the fore. The sides of the raised surfaces are translucent, creating a unique visual effect when light falls on them. Thanks to the high-quality material, the mailbox is almost twice as heavy as a conventional mailbox.
To tailor the mailbox to your individual preferences, numerous modern fonts are available for the engraving.
In addition to the mailbox, we also offer a matching newspaper compartment as an option.
The mailbox comes with two keys and a complete mounting set.

Retrofitting a wireless doorbell in your mailbox – it's this easy
Besides its function as a mailbox, we have also integrated a wireless, original Metzler wireless doorbell. The range of the wireless doorbell is up to 200 m (open field). The mailbox is compatible with Metzler wireless receivers. If you already own a Metzler wireless doorbell, you can use the mailbox with your Metzler wireless chimes without buying an additional receiver.
The special Metzler wireless transmitter turns the mailbox into a fully-fledged wireless doorbell. Thanks to the special transmission technology at 433.92+2 MHz, more than 64,000 frequencies (automatically learning) are possible, avoiding interference from other devices.
Please note: a receiver is not included and must be purchased separately.
As a special highlight, the optional LED ring on the doorbell button lights up for 1 second to confirm to the visitor that the button has been pressed.
