Thanks to IP65 certification, the Metzler VDM10 achieves maximum resistance to dust and water.
Simply put: it provides lasting protection even in the harshest weather conditions.
See more: instead of the usual 80°, the Metzler VDM10 offers a horizontal field of view of 146° and a vertical one of 82°. The VDM10 door intercom with Full HD camera guarantees a crystal-clear picture, without lag or flickering. The video is transmitted to the indoor station(s) in real time.
Night blindness and poor light conditions are a thing of the past. The infrared LEDs in the outer ring of the camera ensure that objects up to 10m away are shown brightly illuminated even in complete darkness. The built-in light sensor activates the IR LEDs exactly when they're really needed. That's how night becomes day!
Hear and be heard like never before. The powerful microphone lets you hear the other person perfectly and crystal-clear. The excellent noise and echo suppression makes it feel as if your visitor were standing right in front of you.
Almost any door or gate opener can be connected to the VDM10 video door intercom. Opening the door or gate is then conveniently done via the indoor station or your smartphone. An additional security module for door control is available as an option.
With a Mifare card, the door can be conveniently opened without a key. The RFID reader is built into the VDM10 video door intercom and LED-illuminated.
The built-in tamper alarm protects your Metzler door intercom. The alarm signal, louder than 85dB, quickly scares off thieves – sticky fingers don't stand a chance!
Control all VDM10 functions via the intuitive Home | Pro | Ultra indoor stations. Thanks to its large display and brilliant resolution, the touchscreen offers optimal ease of use. With live video playback, you see in real time who's ringing, and with just one click you can open the door for your visitor. User-friendly operation and easy installation, along with many other useful features, make everyday life easier.
On the go, you'll benefit from controlling the VDM10 via the free smartphone app (compatible with Android and iOS). You can use your smartphone as an intercom and, thanks to live notifications, open the front door or garage door.
